The art of fashioning and sculpting pewter has been kept alive for 3,000 years, one of the earliest pieces being found in an Egyptian tomb, and Match’s new pewter, some using molds from original antiques, will make you feel like part of that history. All designs are rooted in classic European forms from the 14th through 19th centuries. These frames definitely stand the test of time in terms of functionality and beauty. Bold enough to fit right in with muted minimalism, stylized enough to sit with the most elegant of decor, these two designs go well in both a traditional or contemporary setting. Pewter frames are made with a lead-free alloy of tin, copper, and antimony.
