GUATEMALAN CHESTS: Antique painted pine chests from Guatemala are great fun to decorate with. They look sensational as a coffee table or stacked next to a bed as a nightstand, they make a terrific firewood holder — functional and fabulous! The lovely detailed decorations are somewhat reminiscent of Pennsylvania Dutch painting. Each is one of a kind. $175 – $275.

OLINALÁ BOXES: Small lacquerware wooden boxes from Guerrero, Mexico, perfect for special treasures or as a colorful accent piece. Newly made in a style that originated in the 16th century. These boxes of pine and sweet-smelling linaloe are hand painted with vibrant flowers and foliage on a black background. $20 – $85.

TINWORK: A New Mexican tradition since the late 19th century, these pieces are created by Richard Gabriel. Our collection includes hand punched tin frames, tissue box covers, candleholders, mirrors and crosses. Mirrors are available in custom sizes. Items range in price from $10 – $365.

WOODEN SAINTS AND ANIMALS: New Mexican Folk Artist Hector Rascon learned to carve from his famous father-in-law Ben Ortega. In 1977 he set up his own studio and began carving in his characteristic style. Crafted from cottonwood and aspen, Hector creates St. Francis and San Pasqual as well as burros, jackrabbits, cats, pigs, armadillos and roosters. Once you start collecting Hector's pieces, it's hard to stop! Saints range in price from $20 to $185. The rooster is $165. Burros come in two sizes, the large is $165, the smaller is $115.

TREE OF LIFE: This hand carved and gessoed piece is created by renowned New Mexican santera Marie Romero Cash. A self-taught artist, Marie has participated in the annual Spanish Market since 1974. Her trees of life, bultos and retablos are in collections around the world. $1750.

BIRDHOUSES: New Mexican folk artist Thomas Hogan crafts our fabulous birdhouses inspired by the churches of New Mexico. Painted in rich hues, these birdhouses are made with recycled materials such as old wooden pieces from barns and furniture. Tin cans are used to create stained glass windows. Each one is unique. Get yours while you can, they fly off our shelves! $95.

ALLIGATOR: Our Guatemalan wooden alligator is a one-of-a-kind piece. Hand carved and painted. $175.

ANGELS: Charming Mexican Colonial style angels are available in several styles and sizes. Prices range from $165 to $200.
